I never want to miss an opportunity to highlight exceptional work nurses are doing to provide safe compassionate care !  That’s why, reporter, Becky Malkovich’ article, “Local Nurses Honored for Communication Skills” in 7/24/2012 of eEdition of the Southern Illinoisan caught my eye!

According to the article both hospitals had shining results in their patient survey feedback about how well nurses were communicating.

How often were nurses ALWAYS communicating?

88 % at Pinckneyville Community Hospital!

87 % at Saint Joseph Memorial Hospital!
