The National Association of Independent Medical Practices, (NAIMP)  is dedicated to providing education, networking, funding, mentoring and more to help the independent practitioner have a prosperous and growing practice.  They have a weekly series of dynamic, relevant, and progressive podcasts available.  You don’t have to be a member or in independent practice to listen/watch and several links are pasted below. (I’ve already bookmarked the page and subscribed):

You can also listen to NAIMP podcasts directly from ITunes and download the NAIMP APP for your Apple Devices or Android devices and stay up-to-date on their podcasts.

Did you notice the title of the first one?  I had the recent pleasure of developing a presentation:  Medical Improv:  an Out-of-the Box Solution for ‘People Skills’ We Need and working with NAIMP Founder,  Shirley Cress Dudley, MA LPC NCC FACMPE CMPE.  I sensed a dynamic entrepreneurial spirit with her and the organization!  Shirley was willing to try out some Med Improv activities with me in the last segment and I’m still smiling about it! :).  These activities are rich with communication and collaboration learning ops and they are fun!

It was great information for our listeners and we hope she will return to speak again. “–Shirley Cress Dudley

Here are the links for the Med Improv webinar and podcast!  Both are about 45 min and there are some great resources at the end of the slides.  I’d be grateful if you’d listen/watch,  share,  and let me know what you think!
