Beth Boynton, RN, MS, is a nurse trainer/consultant/speaker specializing in communication and conflict issues that impact nurses and other healthcare professionals. She is an adjunct faculty member with New England College’s graduate program in Healthcare Administration. Her book, Confident Voices: The Nurses’ Guide to Improving Communication & Creating Positive Workplaces will be available Spring 2009. For more info about the book, click here. Bonnie Kerrick, RN, BSN, Editor, a former pediatric and community health nurse, is a writer/editor with 28 years of experience writing and editing advancement, alumni, and marketing copy for higher education, secondary school, medical, and social service institutions.
She is a former Director of Publications at Babson College (Wellesley, MA), St. Mark's School (Southboro, MA), and St. Edward's School (Vero Beach, FL). She is presently a part-time grant writer for Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth, NH, an editor of the New York State Museum Magazine, Legacy, and editor for the book, Confident Voices: The Nurses’ Guide to Improving Communication and Creating Positive Workplaces, (available Spring 2009) She lives in Cape Neddick, ME, with her husband Craig.

William Owens, Ph.D., Contributing Editor, practiced as a psychologist for 22 years and taught psychology at several New England colleges. Through the years he has been involved in a wide range of writing projects. He was the editor and principal writer for a monthly column, "Well-being," published in "Portsmouth Magazine" for five years. He is now transitioning to a career in writing and editing. His interests include non-fiction work in the behavioral sciences, education, and healthcare. His fiction includes fantasy for children and, as he puts it, "stuff that I've been calling humor."
